The HERD - CSU
The Herd is a team of Alumni that is 100 strong! 100 Alumni at $100 a month in recurring giving. This community will enable us to get staff into the field quicker, provide resources, provide camp scholarships, and to pay ambassadors to invest in the athletes and coaches at CSU. The beauty of this community is that no matter what happens to staff, this money is dedicated to leaving a spiritual legacy at CSU. After eight years of military service, I feel led to fulltime collegiate ministry with FCA!
I'm beyond excited to share that my wife, Shane, our two boys, and I plan to move to Fort Collins in Fall 2024 to begin work on the campuses of the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) and Colorado State University (CSU).
Having played offensive line at the Air Force Academy, married a collegiate swimmer, and had dozens of friends or family coach or compete in college, I am keenly aware of the spiritual needs in college athletics. It's unfortunate but athletes and coaches are often spiritually neglected during this time.
From my own experience, I also know FCA has done a fantastic job of serving athletes and coaches for decades. It’s a unique haven for college athletes and coaches, offering Christian discipleship, community, and love.
As Collegiate Director for the Northern Colorado area, I will be committed to helping coaches and athletes on their walks with Christ. Would you consider joining me as a volunteer or financial partner in this mission?
