Vision: Serving the Club Sports Community
The FCA Club Sports Ministry envisions building a committed team to serve the club sports community throughout Northern Colorado and beyond. This service is customized to meet the unique needs of each sports association, all with the goal of advancing FCA’s broader vision: transforming the world through Jesus Christ via the influence of coaches and athletes.

Mission: Supporting Coaches, Character Coaches, and Existing Clubs
The mission expands the vision into actionable support for coaches, character coaches, and clubs. It includes partnerships with existing organizations, coach development programs, and training for character coaches who mentor athletes in faith and personal growth.

Outreach & Engagement: Bringing Christ to the Sports Arena
FCA Club Sports Ministry seeks to create spiritual engagement through visible presence at events and direct interaction with teams. This includes hosting FCA tents, organizing youth programs, and building relationships through team-based outreach.

FCA Huddles: Building Faith-Filled Communities Across Coaches, Parents, and Athletes
FCA Club Sports programs maintain three foundational huddles—Coaches, Parents, and Athletes—across all stages and levels of play. These huddles foster spiritual growth, discipleship, and community, rooted in biblical principles and the E3 model. Each group plays a unique role in shaping a Christ-centered sports culture that impacts lives on and off the field.

FCA Clubs: Transforming Club Sports Through Faith and Leadership
FCA Clubs play a vital role in fulfilling the Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ vision by developing both the skills and spiritual lives of coaches and athletes. These clubs aim to transform the often frustrating club sports environment into one that nurtures leadership, character, and faith. By starting an FCA Club, individuals can help athletes and coaches grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and connect with His Church.

Living Out FCA Core Values in Club Sports: Integrity, Serving, Teamwork, and Excellence
FCA Club Sports programs are built on four core values—Integrity, Serving, Teamwork, and Excellence—which shape every aspect of how clubs operate and minister. These values guide how FCA interacts with athletes, families, and communities, ensuring a Christ-centered approach to competition, leadership, and spiritual growth. Each value is practically applied to create safe, transparent, and transformational environments.
TESTIMONY
Mike Lynch
HC WSoc, Belmont Abbey college, private, Faith-based gem located minutes from Charlotte, NC.
High School attended FCA Soccer Camp in 1978, chosen because of the coaches there. The daily Camp Huddle devotional, focused on Col 3:17, was a hugely gained unexpected benefit that became my pregame prep for my high school and college playing careers and the foundation of my coaching philosophy the last 40 years, Pr 22:6.
3D Coaching, introduced to me by FCA in 2020, is in my opinion, one of the best coaching professional development books and on line course I have experienced, for both a new coach forming their coaching philosophy and an experienced coach, always learning and fine tuning. It works equally effective and positive, too, for the Christian or secular coach in a secular environment.
If we allow ourselves to only coach 2D, body and mind, instead of 3D, body, mind and soul (or substitute heart for soul at a secular program), our players and our teams will never maximize their potential nor receive the formation, life skills sport participation is uniquely empowered to do.
